Devotees will not be allowed to enter the Puri Lord Jagannath temple unless they are modestly dressed. This warning has been given by the administration of Srimandir. This rule will be strictly enforced from the 1^st of January. The administration of Srimandir has given this information.

According to the administration of the temple, the devotees will wear full dress while entering the temple. Can't wear any ripped jeans or half pants. Children below 12 years of age can wear half pants. Those who are not wearing modest dress will not be allowed to enter the temple.

Devotees will be communicated and aware about this. Devotees will enter the temple dressed modestly. After alerting the devotees, this order will be strictly enforced from next January 1. The Shree Jagannath Temple Police (JTP) at Singhdwar and Pratihari servants residing inside the Shree Mandir will monitor the attire of the devotees, the Shree Mandir administration said.
