Matric exam answer sheet evaluation begins under tight security in Odisha

Bhubaneswar, March 19: The evaluation of answer sheets for the Matric examination conducted by the Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha, commenced today under strict security measures to ensure a fair and transparent process.
The BSE has issued stringent guidelines, warning that any malpractice during the evaluation process will invite strict action. The evaluation begins daily at 10 AM and continues till 5 PM, during which teachers and staff are restricted from leaving the premises. Additionally, mobile phone usage is strictly prohibited within the evaluation centers.
A total of 11,800 teachers have been deployed for the evaluation, and CCTV cameras have been installed at the centers to monitor activities. Each center has been assigned a camp officer, a chief observer, two deputy observers, and two supervisors to oversee the process. Furthermore, over 300 data entry operators have been engaged to upload marks online daily.
This year, 5,22,336 students registered for the exam, but over 15,000 students were absent. The BSE aims to complete the evaluation smoothly and release results on time.
