Bhubaneswar, Aug 5: A devastating collision near DAV Public School in Keonjhar district's Joda police station limits resulted in the loss of three lives, including two students, on Monday morning. 

Krishna Bhusal, his son Nikit Bhusal, and Ganesh Sharma, son of Santosh Sharma, were identified as the victims. According to eyewitnesses, the trio was traveling to school on a bike when a speeding truck struck them from behind and fled the scene. The impact was so severe that all three died instantly.

Police arrived promptly to investigate the incident, but the tragedy sparked outrage among locals, who blocked the route, demanding justice and adequate compensation for the families. The protest disrupted vehicular movement, highlighting the community's concern for road safety and accountability. The incident serves as a poignant reminder of the need for responsible driving and measures to prevent such tragic losses
