Odisha CM expands 'Ama Odisha Nabin Odisha Yojana' to three more districts

Bhubaneswar, Nov 8: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday introduced the 'Ama Odisha Nabin Odisha Yojana' in three additional districts within the State.
This initiative, 'Ama Odisha Nabin Odisha,' is aimed at strengthening the infrastructure for the development of Odisha. It was launched on the twelfth day of this ambitious program through a video conferencing ceremony, covering the districts of Sundargarh, Dhenkanal, and Boudh.
Under this initiative, a total of Rs 139.50 crores has been allocated to six constituencies in Sundargarh district, which include Sundargarh, Talasara, Birmitrapur, Raghunathpalli, Rajgangpur, and Banei. These funds will support the implementation of 3,016 projects across 279 gram panchayats in 17 blocks within these constituencies.
Similarly, four constituencies in Dhenkanal district, namely Dhenkanal, Kamakhyanagar, Parjang, and Hindola, will receive Rs 106 crores for the execution of 3,053 projects across 212 gram panchayats in eight blocks.
Additionally, two constituencies in Boudh district, Kantamal and Boudh, will benefit from Rs 34.50 crores, supporting the implementation of 1,159 projects across 69 gram panchayats in three blocks.
It's important to note that this program will disburse a total of Rs 3,397 crore throughout the state, benefiting 6,794 panchayats. In total, 90,723 projects will be executed across the state, with a focus on each panchayat and village. Each village is set to receive Rs 10 lakh, while each panchayat will be allocated Rs 50 lakh.
