Bhubaneswar, Nov 8: The Odisha Vigilance so far has traced properties worth crores linked to Biswabandhu Panigrahi, Superintending Engineer in the Public Health Department.

The anti-corruption agency so far has traced a double storeyed building at VSS Nagar in Bhubaneswar, onre single storeyed building in Bhadrak, four plots in prime areas on Bhubaneswar and Bhadrak and onsurance deposits over Rs 51 lakh.

The Vigilance has also found an agreement made with a realtor in which Rs 39 lakhs was paid by Panigrahi to purchase three BHK flat in the name of his spouse in Rudrapur area of Bhubaneswar.

Earlier, simultaneous house searches were being conducted by a Vigilance team comprising 7 DSPs, 5 Inspectors, 8 ASIs, and other staff on the strength of search warrants issued by Special Judge, Vigilance, Bhubaneswar at six places in Bhubaneswar and Bhadrak to unearth disproportionate assets of Panigrahi.
