Sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik celebrates Virat Kohli's birthday with grand sand sculpture
Puri, Nov 5: Renowned sand artist and Padma Shri Awardee Sudarsan Pattnaik extended his birthday wishes to Indian cricket star Virat Kohli in a grand manner, crafting a magnificent sand art display at Puri sea beach.
The imposing sand art, standing at a towering seven feet, beautifully portrayed Virat Kohli in the iconic setting of Kolkata's Eden Gardens, where India was scheduled to face South Africa.
Within his intricate sand sculpture, Pattnaik meticulously sculpted 35 sand bats and a number of cricket balls, employing an impressive five tons of sand to bring this remarkable creation to life.
Taking to his official ‘X’ handle, Pattnaik shared a video of the sand art and said “Happy birthday to the incredible cricket icon @imVkohli, a legend in every format of the game, my SandArt at Puri beach in Odisha. #HappyBirthdayViratKohli.”
