Odisha CM launches Ama Odisha Nabin Odisha in three more districts

Bhubaneswar, Nov 4: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik inaugurated the Ama Odisha Nabin Odisha program in the districts of Mayurbhanj, Sambalpur, and Malkangiri on Saturday.
Under this initiative, a total budget of Rs 90.50 crore has been allocated for the development of four constituencies within Mayurbhanj district, including Jashipur, Karanjia, Saraskana, and Rairangpur. These funds will facilitate the implementation of 2,427 projects across 181 panchayats spanning 13 blocks in these constituencies.
Similarly, three constituencies in Sambalpur district, namely Rairakhol, Rengali, and Kuchinda, have received an allocation of Rs 69 crore for 1,801 projects distributed among 138 gram panchayats across 9 blocks.
Additionally, two constituencies in Malkangiri district, Chitrokonda and Malkangiri, will benefit from an allocation of Rs 55.50 crore. These funds will support the execution of 1,430 projects in 111 gram panchayats spanning 7 blocks.
The state government has initiated this program with the goal of enhancing rural development throughout the state, with a strong focus on each Panchayat and village. A significant budget of Rs 50 lakh has been allocated to every local self-governing body.
The Ama Odisha Nabin Odisha program aims to promote Jagannath culture, enhance worship sites, and reinforce the foundations of Odia culture while digitizing its cultural heritage. It seeks to elevate Odisha's traditional culture and amalgamate it with modern scientific knowledge, thus fostering a more empowered and contemporary Odisha.
