Naveen launches 'Ama Odisha Nabin Odisha' initiative in Rayagada and Jharsuguda districts

Bhubaneswar, Oct 30: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Monday unveiled the ambitious 'Ama Odisha Nabin Odisha' program in the districts of Rayagada and Jharsuguda.
Under the 'Ama Odisha Nabin Odisha' program, the Chief Minister inaugurated 2613 development projects valued at Rs 91 crore for Rayagada district, and 957 projects worth Rs 39 crore for Jharsuguda district.
The primary objective of this far-reaching initiative is to enhance the capacity and potential of every panchayat and village in the state. Each panchayat will be allocated a grant of 50 lakhs, intended to facilitate a diverse range of development projects and activities.
This program's holistic approach aims to promote the rich Jagannath culture, nurture every place of worship, and fortify Odisha's traditional values. Additionally, it will promote digital literacy, bridging the gap between age-old cultural heritage and modernity.
During his address, Chief Minister Patnaik underscored the importance of safeguarding Odisha's cultural heritage while embracing the advantages of modernization. He articulated his vision for an Odisha that upholds principles of love, peace, harmony, and equality, serving as a model for the preservation and development of culture.
