Getting GI tag for Rasabali is a matter of glory for Odisha : Naveen Patnaik
Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has expressed his happiness over getting GI tag status to Kendrapara Rasabali. For this, the Chief Minister congratulated the people of Odisha, the Kendrapara district administration and the people of Kendrapara. Naveen said, this is a matter of glory for Odisha. Rasabali has special importance in the food culture and tradition of Odisha.
IT is to be noted that ,In 2021, the application for GI tagging was approved. Lord Sribaldev Jew's beloved Prasad Rasabali. Rasabali is prepared with Cheese and milk. It was applied for GI tag by Rasabali Mistan Manufacturers Association. Rasabali is one of the 56 prasads of the lord Jagannath in Puri Srimandir . According to the researchers, Rasabali was started from Kendrapara, Odisha.
