Odisha CM and LoP congratulate Sanjukta Sethi on National Florence Nightingale Award
Bhubaneswar, Sept 11: Sanjukta Sethi, a nursing officer from Malkangiri, Odisha, was honored with the National Florence Nightingale Award at Rashtrapati Bhawan in New Delhi on Wednesday. The President of India, Droupadi Murmu, presented the award to Sethi, along with other nursing professionals, in recognition of their exceptional contributions to healthcare.
Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi and Leader of Opposition Naveen Patnaik extended their congratulations to Sushree Sanjukta Sethi for receiving the prestigious award.
CM Majhi took to Twitter, stating, "Heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to Sushree Sanjukta Sethi, a dedicated healthcare worker from Malkangiri, for being honoured with the Florence Nightingale Award by President Droupadi Murmu. Your sacrifice, dedication, and public service exemplify women’s empowerment. May Lord Jagannath bless you with a bright future."
Former CM Naveen Patnaik, now Leader of Opposition, also praised Sethi on his X handle, saying, "Best wishes to Sanjukta Sethi of Malkangiri District Headquarters Hospital for receiving the National Florence Nightingale Award. This is a moment of pride for Odisha. Wishing her continued success."
The National Florence Nightingale Awards, instituted by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, honor the exemplary services of outstanding nursing professionals across India.
