BJP Observe 12 Hour Bandh In Deogarh

The state BJP is observing a 12-hour bandh in Odisha’s Deogarh district on Monday in protest against the arrest of party MLA Subash Chandra Panigrahi and and demanding action against Tileibani BDO Krushnachandra Dalapati . The MLA was arrested after the BDO accused the legislator of thrashing him and filed an FIR.

Movement of vehicles has been affected, and shops and businesses closed in view of the bandh. However emergency services and vehicles carrying students to exam centres have been excluded from the bandh.

Notably after BDO had accused the legislator of thrashing him and filed an FIR , Deogarh police yesterday arrested Deogarh MLA Subash Chandra Panigrahi from his official residence along with his Two associates Akalu Dhal and Kumarmani Sahoo .

It is to informed that MLA Subash Chandra Panigrahi had also filed an FIR against Tileibani BDO Krushnachandra Dalapati alleging that the BDO misbehaved with him .
